1 Q. Are all packages, sizes, and accessories available on all ships and embarkation ports?
A. The availability of packages, sizes, and accessories varies by ship and embarkation port. If an item you are requesting is not available, you will be contacted by our Customer Service Department when your order is processed. You may also contact the Customer Service Department directly to inquire about specific items for your cruise. BACK TO TOP
2 Q. Is the rental fee for the entire cruise or for each formal night?
A. The rental fee is for the entire length of your cruise. The Tuxedo is delivered to your stateroom on Embarkation Day and is picked up on the last night of your voyage. BACK TO TOP
3 Q. Do you have a tailor on board the ship?
A. Yes, there is a tailor on board that can make a minor alteration such as adjust a hem or sleeve length on a coat. Major alterations are not available. Please contact the Housekeeping Department on board the ship for this service. There is no charge. BACK TO TOP
4 Q. What happens if my tuxedo doesn't fit?
A. We make every effort to ensure that your tuxedo will fit well. That is why we review the sizes with you when you place your order. However, you should try on the tuxedo as soon as you receive it in order to allow enough time to correct a problem on board. There is inventory on board every ship to handle most exchanges.
Please note that the inventory is limited and is first come-first serve, so we recommend that you request any exchanges immediately. Please do not wait until right before you are going to wear the tuxedo to try it on. Please contact the Housekeeping Department on the ship to request assistance with your tuxedo rental. BACK TO TOP
5 Q. Do you rent tuxedos for children?
A. Tuxedos for children are only available on a pre-order basis for sailings from Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and Port Canaveral. Formal wear for children is not available on board the ship for rentals or exchanges. BACK TO TOP
6 Q. I don't know my tuxedo size. How do I measure?
A. The sizes that we require are those you currently wear and are comfortable in.
7 Q. How much time in advance do you need for me to place an order?
A. The answer to this question varies according to the port of embarkation. Most sailings require orders to be placed one week prior to sailing. Some cruises such as South American, European, South Pacific and other exotic destinations require orders to be placed at least two weeks prior to sailing. Orders for end of year and holiday sailings should also be placed early. Please call our Customer Service Department at 1 800- 551-5091 and inquire about your specific cruise. BACK TO TOP
8 Q. Do you have tuxedo rentals on board?
A. There is inventory on board each ship to handle last minute orders and exchanges. The inventory is limited and is available on a first come first served basis so we recommend that you pre order your Tuxedo before you board. If you decide to rent your Tuxedo once on the ship, you may do so at the Guest Relations or Guest Services Desk.
Note: Children’s tuxedos are not available on board for rentals or exchanges. BACK TO TOP
9 Q. What should I do if my cabin number, ship or sail date change after I placed my formal wear rental order?
A. It is important that you notify Cruiseline Formalwear directly prior to sailing of changes made to your cabin number, ship or sail date. Cruiseline Formalwear will NOT be notified directly by the cruise line of these changes. You may notify us with your updated information by calling our Customer Service department (1-800-551-5091) during business hours (Mon-Fri 8:00 am-12:00pm EST and 1:00pm-5:00pm EST) or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. 10 Q. What sizes are available in the tuxedo rental program?
A. Tuxedos are available in all sizes up to a size 60 X-Long on most ships. Tuxedo rentals are available on board the ship in a limited size range, on a first come first served basis. We strongly recommend that you place your tuxedo rental order prior to sailing. BACK TO TOP
11 Q. What information do you need to place an order?
A. The information required to process an order is: the name of the ship, sail date and port. We also need your current measurements and the credit card payment information. The measurements you need to provide are height, weight, coat size, chest measurement, pants waist and length (inseam or out seam), shirt neck and sleeve and shoe size if applicable. BACK TO TOP
12 Q. How does the program work? Will the order be delivered to my stateroom? How do I return the formal wear?
A. The formal wear rental will be delivered to your stateroom by the cabin steward on the day that you sail. In order to avoid any additional charges for unreturned or lost items, please re-package all the garments in the bag provided and personally return it to your cabin attendant the day following the last formal evening of the cruise. 13 Q. How can I place and order?
A. You may place your order directly through this web-site or by calling our Customer Service Department at
14 Q. How do I obtain an order confirmation?
A. If you place your order by telephone, you will receive a confirmation number upon completing your order.
Orders placed through our web site will automatically receive a confirmation via e-mail within two business days of submitting the order. If you have not received an e-mail confirmation of your order after two full business days, please call or email us to confirm that your order has been received and will be processed. BACK TO TOP
15 Q. What if I need to cancel my order?
A. If you need to cancel your order please call our Customer Service Department at 1-800-551-5091. See below our cancellation policy. BACK TO TOP
1. A cancellation fee of $20 will be applied on any order that has been submitted and fully processed.
2. A $35 cancellation fee will be charged to any order that is cancelled within 24 hours of a sailing. For a sailing occurring on a Saturday, Sunday or Monday a $35 cancellation fee will be charged if the order is cancelled after 12 noon EST on Friday.BACK TO TOP
3. No refunds will be provided after tuxedo has been processed and delivered to ship.
4. Tuxedos are prepared to Customer's specifications. No refund will be provided for a problem with the fitting.
